Our Story
It all started in 2001 in a small workshop in Paris, France. Our founder, Henri Dubois, grew up around his family’s cafes and always had a deep appreciation for the craft of brewing coffee and tea. After studying design and working for years as a barista, Henri longed to recreate the charming European cafe experience at home.
Frustrated by the lack of elegant, functional brewing equipment available, Henri set out to design his own French press coffee maker. He wanted to engineer something beautiful yet practical, using the finest materials and workmanship.
After months of prototyping and testing different designs, the first Bonjour French press was born. With its crystal clear glass, stainless steel frame, and dual filters for optimal extraction, it was unlike anything else on the market.
Word of Henri’s impeccable French press spread quickly throughout Paris. Soon he was being commissioned to create teapots, kettles, and other brewing accessories to match the elegance and quality of his original design.
As demand grew, Henri expanded into a larger workshop and brought on expert craftspeople to help hand-assemble each piece. Every product was lovingly constructed and rigorously tested to meet Henri’s unwavering standards.
In 2005, Henri opened the first Bonjour flagship store in Paris, followed by locations around France. Customers loved being able to experience the full Bonjour collection in person. The stores also featured working cafes where customers could taste freshly brewed coffee and tea made using Bonjour products.
Over the next decade, Bonjour continued to grow while staying true to Henri’s artisanal approach. All products are still designed in Paris and crafted locally using responsible manufacturing practices.

- Classic French Press – Our signature design, featuring a glass carafe, double micro-filters, and stainless steel exterior. Available in 34oz, 44oz, and 64oz sizes.
- Thermal French Press – Keep coffee hotter for longer with a double-walled, vacuum-sealed stainless steel carafe. Comes in 12oz, 20oz, and 32oz capacities.
- Glass Teapot French Press – Brew loose leaf tea in an elegant glass teapot with a built-in stainless steel French press filter. 34oz size.
- Double Walled Glass French Press – Gorgeous crystalline glass carafe encased in a second insulating glass layer. Available in 12oz and 20oz versions.
- Travel French Press – Take your brew on the go with a sleek, portable 17oz stainless steel French press. Fits most car cup holders and includes a storage lid.
All our French presses feature German-made stainless steel filters for strength, durability, and pure taste without paper waste. We’ve engineered the dual filtration system to allow optimal coffee extraction while trapping even the finest grounds. The plunger mechanism is designed to slowly pressurize the carafe for full-bodied flavor and aroma in the finished brew. And the glass and stainless steel components are built to last while maintaining sleek aesthetic lines.

- Cast Iron Teapots – In traditional Japanese tetsubin style, our enameled cast iron teapots keep tea hot while adding subtle flavor. With stainless steel infuser built-in. Comes in 18oz, 28oz, or 40oz sizes.
- Stovetop Kettles – Constructed from premium stainless steel, our kettles have an ergonomic handle and spout for easy pouring. Whistles when water reaches a boil. Choose 2qt or 3qt capacity.
- Electric Kettles – Boil water faster than the stove with our cordless electric kettles. Features include variable temperature control, auto-shutoff, and concealed heating element. Available in 1.8L size.
- Tea Tumblers – Take tea on the go with vacuum-sealed, double-walled stainless steel tumblers. Keeps drinks hot or cold for hours. Comes with infuser basket. 12oz and 16oz versions available.
